death of me - New Twilight RPG « Result #2 on Dec 31, 2008, 9:20pm »
Forks, Washington has always been a place where things have been simple. Recently with the influx of vampires, people have failed to notice those that have gone missing. The werewolves can't hurt the Cullen clan, they've not broken their contract, they've not hurt a soul. But it's open season on vampires. With everyone in a whirl-wind of vampiric chaos and death tolls in Forks rising, the Volturi still haven't shown their faces to stop the madness.
¤ ¤ ¤
Following a trio in Italy, the Volturi are winded and tired. Their bodies go forever, but their minds, caused by blackness in their tracking and the inability to see the ones being tracked they're growing weary, ready to return home. That is when a sense comes. the smell of a creature closer. He's bleeding, wounded. He's what they're hunting. The fourth to the group, making it a trio that's on the loose, rather than four. His words lead them all to Forks, where the Volturi come armed, ready to kill.
¤ ¤ ¤
They carry no scent. They are close. Two males, a single female, each varying in size, each meek and unwilling to become part of a group. What are they? What could be dangerous enough to distract the Volturi when they were clearly challenged by such scary numbers that have climbed in Forks?

Kvasir's Realm « Result #4 on Jul 6, 2008, 10:50am »
Kvasir's Realm Site: http://kvasirsrealm.proboards81.com Activity: New RP Level: Intermediate to Advanced Type: Wild Horse Plot: Sleipnir and his herd were caught in heavy rains in a valley where the greatest of all rivers flowed. The rains were so torrential it caused them to flee. The river was rising fast, like a flash flood, and topped its banks before Sleipnir's herd got out of the valley. All the horses were swept away to their deaths except one six-month colt. His name was Kvasir. It is unknown how he managed to not to die but he lived through it.
Kvasir wandered the countryside meeting every animal, enemy and ally. He learned lots about other herds and became the wisest of them all. By the time he was three he had as many mares, stallions, foals, and land as he did knowledge. In his land he started an army of colts just in case of battle. He was appointed army leader as he was the wisest. His jobs consisted of picking out the best colts, teaching them to fight, and making strong and ready for battle. Scars littered his body, making him look battle-worn. That wasn't the case though.
The scars came from man alone and no other. Not other stallions, mares, or foals. Kvasir was knowledgeable about men and tried to stay away. The men though roped him and the lassos choked him while he fought them. For weeks on end he fought these men, trying to get free. In return he got no food or water. They tried riding him but Kvasir bested them. Most of those men ended up flying through the air to land on the hard dirt. When they finally did let him free Kvasir was nearly starved.
During those weeks any land he had gotten were taken over and his herd claimed by many herds. Kvasir made a new start and returned back to where the flood had taken place two and a half years before. This land he took over along with surrounding lands. He went out of his territory and claimed mares, foals, and young stallions wanting protection. When some neighboring herds got into a big war Kvasir left his herd and land for a week trying to make peace. While being away parts of his herd got into little fights and split.
A bachelor stallion, Chemosh, that Kvasir decided to protect, took the young colts Heartbreak Plains of the northeast surrounded by mountains. Heimdall, another young stallion, took the least weak and old mares to the northwestern forest to prepare for a rebellion. Old stallions, mares, and young fillies with knowledge, led by Elli and Eir went to the southwest protected by mountains and rivers made up the horses of the Halcyon Lands. Lastly the weakest of them all (mentally and physically) went to the east to the beach and the eastern half of the Halcyon Lands. These weak horses were lead by Astrild. The western shores all believed that was where the dead went and called it the undying lands. In the very middle of Kvasir's Realm was the Council Grounds where everyone could gather.
When Kvasir returned he found his realm divided up along with his mares, foals, and stallions. From legion to legion he goes keeping everything in order and trying to bring everyone back together. It is unknown why they fought and split up but they did.
A year after the big split of the realm Chemosh get really angry at one of Kvasir's decisions and takes his newly trained colts after Kvasir himself. In the Heartbreak Plains they found him and attacked him. For a bit Kvasir held his own but when he started getting weary, Chemosh came in and gave one massive attack. At that attack Kvasir was killed in the very center of Heartbreak Plains.
Some of the greatest knowledge now left the race of horses. Knowledge about man and the outside lands were lost. Knowledge back to the great flood was lost. The three legions now grieved over the loss of Kvasir while Chemosh rejoiced and gave his colts holidays. These three legions didn't know what to do and were in utter confusion. The four leaders of the three lands met in the council grounds to figure everything out but at the same time it was the time of year when Chemosh would scour the lands taking the good colts. The taken colts would become part of Chemosh's Legion through force and discipline. The ones left behind would be the only defense of their respective legions.
Each legion has one or two leaders and a stronghold where leaders are nomally found and refuge if wars start. In Heimdall's Legion the stronghold is in the middle of the forest named Miming. Chemosh chose his stronghold to be in the mountains and named it Valkyries. In the Halcyon lands they put their in a far corner where mountains and rivers met. The Diluted Lands put theirs in between a river that split up. So who will you join?

Plot: Welcome to Rise of paradise. This is a beginner's wolf role play. As of now, there is no magic or humans in the valley. Wolves can communicate with each other, and many pack positions are open. Among other things, there will be a major conflict between the wolves in which the packs will either be torn apart and consumed by a more vicious party, or band together in their resistance. Also, the humans that are organizing this little 'paradise' will come into play. And even later, if the activity is up to a level I like and the members want it, I might add magic.
For many thousands of years equines roamed the land individually. This meant that horses rarely met one another and foals were very precious beings. One such being was born decades ago. He lived with his dam until the age of three and then set out to take his first solitary steps into the unknown. The Being’s name was Ballyon, meaning “Gift of the God’s”. Any Equine he met along his travels would be persuaded to join him, and thus the world’s first herd was created, with Ballyon at its heart.
The Gods were most pleased by Ballyon’s creation, and rewarded him with the title, Equusential, and three unimaginable gifts. Firstly, two wings were placed on his back so that he could take flight and watch more effectively over his vast herd. Second, a horn was planted upon his head like a crown, letting each and every animal know who he was, and finally, the greatest gift of all was bestowed unto him. The gift of immortality. He became a Pegacorn and could live forever, never aging, unless killed in battle by another Equine. Whoever won that battle, would take Ballyon’s place as the new Equusential, along with all the gifts that came with it.
Some horses heard what the God’s had given their leader, and craved his recently granted power. They split from The Equusential’s herd forming what they believed to be a greater, more powerful one, and these once so loyal subjects became the first Darks, plotting to gain the gifts of The Equusential. They sent many stallions to try and fight for the title. Many were no match for him, but one Stag named Shadoch stood high above the rest and went on to kill Ballyon.
But alas, this was many moons ago now. Shadoch can no longer be seen patrolling the lands, and many believe he was just a myth in the first place. But are they right? Some say he has gone into hiding from the gods; his dark ways did not work well with them, and they threatened to kill him if he disturbed the peace again.
So with the Equine world now ruled by the darks, the numbers of lights and loyal followers of the dead Ballyon are dwindling. Who will win the battle of good versus evil? May Shadoch ever be seen again, and if so, who will be the one to track him down?
Create your own story and decide. You may become… The Equusential
You play sabretooth cats in a varied landscape. You can play a clan cat, a cadre cat or a loner/drifter. A simple, open plot has been created to kick start the game but players may create their own plots too. It has a few similarities to Warriors RPGs, but is an original game and stands on its own without using Warriors terms.
Plot: Dar-Calugthoth, leader of the Fearhorde, prepares his forces to face off against a conspiracy that's brewing out of control. Meanwhile, the conspirators have named themselves the Doomhorde and prepare to do battle over ownership of the Harrow.
Meanwhile, in Blueice Clan, Ninku the fighter sabrecat prepares to single-handedly slaughter an invading cadre of cats into his sister's cadre's territory. It just might be a bloody scene.
And in Rillan territory, Dar-Wawkah prepares for new arrivals at his cadre. But along the wind comes the scent of an invader who has returned to claim what's his, though an ill-made bargain.
This RPG opened up on March 11, 2008. So far we have over 3000 posts and 80 members. So if anyone wants to get in on a new, yet active, game and start characters with powerful positions, here's your chance. {Be sure to read the rules!}

Imalla Wolves « Result #8 on Jun 18, 2008, 6:22pm »
Five years ago the wolves that first lived in the land of Imalla disappeared without a trace. There seemed to be no reason why they had gone, but the land was devoid of wolves. Prey began to flourish as less of them were hunted by the wolves and the rest of the land seemed to come out of hiding.
Then the wolves returned. It had been just a three years, but new wolves had already come to take the place of those who had abandoned this fertile land. They began to flourish and soon there five packs that dominated the area. Plenty of loners made there home in the neutral lands, where wolves were free to roam as they pleased.
Soon, however, there were battles over territories and packs. Perhaps one of the bloodiest involved three packs, though it was just a fight over who would become the new alpha. Anyu, the alpha of Secret Forest, wanted revenge on the male wolf, Demon, who was challenging the new alpha, Spirit. So, Anyu and Leafpaw headed to the territory and helped Spirit win the territory. It was a hard battle. Demon's former packmate Roslyn came to help, making things harder for everyone. Still, Spirit won the land for herself. Other such battles happened throughout the lands. It seemed as if no one could get along.
Then something terrible happened. The Darklands were discovered by some of the darker-hearted wolves in Imalla. It was the perfect place for those who wished to attack the Imalla wolves and take over. What no one realized was that this was the same problem that had driven the wolves out of Imalla in the first place.
So, three pack were formed in the Darklands, led by Zetsumei, Diablo, and Nightmare. Diablo soon disappeared - probably killed by a rogue or a rival - and was replaced by Krypt. Months later the packs in the Darklands were still very small. Zetsumei, who had been going crazy for many years as it was, suddenly seemed overcome by his insanity and claimed the densite in Krypt's packlands. He never stood a chance against Krypt and died a horrible death. Malady, a young wolf with a plan to take over both of the other Darklands packs and the Imalla packs, took over Zetsumei's old territory and began to work on creating a pack, and finding himself an heir.
So, the Imalla packs still live in peace, unaware of the plotting going on just beyond the Beartooth Mountains. All they know is that life is getting hard, and often lonely.
Ten years ago, wolves all around Michica Island were in one big pack. It didn't matter if they were red, pink, blue, or purple. They loved each other for one another. One day a red wolf, Rashile, took the wrong turn and killed one wolf of each color to show that he was stronger than the rest. Quickly the pack was panicked and one by one, they split up. The red herd went one way, the pink went the other, and the so did the other packs. They found their own land that they wanted to live on and soon everything was peaceful again.
One week ago, a mixed color was pup was born which meant the worst; one of the wolves from the other pack had breed with Virginia. She denied it, but secretly she had been sneaking off and seeing KiVern, a purple wolf. All of the herds are panicked now and fights are beginning to break out like it did before. Will this pup help all the herds or will it betray it's own kind. Either the wolves are going to come together or slowly, but surely, they will become extinct.
